Red shades are widely used for confectionery, bakery, ice cream, savoury, and dairy applications because mother nature offers plentiful orange-red to bright-red pigments from all kinds of fruits and vegetables. At Holland Ingredients, we take advantage of these red shades and produce nowadays a full spectrum of red colours and colouring foods. When we look at carmine colours, red pigments show also very high stability against heat and light, which is essential for meat and sausage products, extrudates, pet food, or UHT- drinks. Our portfolio includes also extracts and concentrates from vegetables like red radish, elderberry, black carrot, or red beet. Most of these products can be offered in powder and liquid form.
